We sat back and observed client after client attempting to collect and report feedback from their staff or clients. Most failing miserably.
Paper questionnaires were being printed and posted for both staff and customer feedback at great time and expense. Most not completed or returned.
The traditional feedback process was admin-intensive. As such, the admin team often ran and owned the process. Too many senior decision makers who needed timely and accurate insight to help them make well informed decisions were not across what was really happening in their organisation.
For those paper surveys that were returned, lever arch folders full of returned but often un-actioned feedback sat gathering dust. Gold nuggets of profit-generating insight – overlooked.
We knew there had to be a better way, so we set out to do something about it.
By the end of 2003 we had built PeoplePulse and designed a range of services around gathering feedback. Our goal was to ensure that the collection and reporting of those ‘gold nuggets’ would never fall into the ‘too hard’ basket again.
Fast forward to today.
Over 1,000 clients assisted and more than 5 million survey responses collected using PeoplePulse.
